About us
The Maranatha Christian International Mission (MCIM) is a non-profit religious organization linked and subordinated to the Maranatha Christian Church (MCC), created in March 1978, which aims to worship God and preach the Gospel, in accordance with the scriptures of the Gospel, Old and New Testament, as well as congregate groups of Missions and Churches in Brazil and abroad.
Maintainer
CC is the institution and maintainer of MCIM. MCC emerged from the evangelical community as a result of an event planned for the present time as it is written at the book of the prophet Joel 2:28 which says:
“And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions.”
Founder and foundation
The founder and the foundation are identified in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, there is no emphasis on another name or names since its existence is part of God’s prophetic plan for our days.
However, MCC, as a religious institution, was born in January 1968, in the neighborhood of Toca, in the city of Vila Velha, State of Espírito Santo, Brazil, with the aim of worshiping God and preaching the gospel according to the Writings of the Old and New Testaments as the only rule of faith and practice, as well as awareness of the spiritual and social formation of men, Christian education, to promote charitable, moral and educational assistance, in a non-profit manner nationally and in foreign territory.
Goal
We believe in all the doctrines taught in the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, especially in all those in which the Faithful Church, through the centuries, always believed, particularly those concerning the Trinity, the plan of salvation by grace through faith in the personal faith and in the work accomplished by the Lord Jesus on the cross of Calvary.
We believe, moreover, in the Pentecostal doctrines of the baptism with the Holy Spirit, of the spiritual gifts and of the direction of the Lord Jesus over His Church. We believe that the Church must be attentive to biblical doctrines so that she may live in sanctification and obedience to the will of God.
We believe that the practice of the teachings of the Holy Scriptures, particularly those that refer to the importance of the use of the resources of grace, are sufficient for any church to be awakened from the spiritual numbness state.
