This is the motto of the victorious church that heeds the voice of God and evangelizes. In the same way in Accra, capital of Ghana, West Africa, there was the evangelistic seminar for children, in the Maranatha Christian Church, on October 27, 2018, with 350 guests aged from 2 to 17 years old. Participants came from Peace Academy, Throne of Grace, Pearl Pectra and Onward International School, all of which already receive spiritual guidance with Bible teachings every Wednesday and Friday.
The theme of the Seminar was Maranatha, the Lord Jesus Comes, with the explanation of the biblical message about the prophetic moment that the faithful church is living, attentive and vigilant to the prophetic signs that point to its soon rapture. During the evangelization, healings were witnessed, great operation of the Holy Spirit bringing communion, joy, peace and salvation. Many of the children who have accepted the Lord Jesus during the seminars came from the Islamic religion, which drew attention from all participants.
The Maranatha Christian Church started in Ghana 12 years ago and currently has more than 500 members. Pastor Emmanuel Sawiri traveled to Brazil 10 years ago to hold seminars and learn more about church doctrine. “We saw the teachings of the Maranha Christian Church in Brazil and found that this was really the true work of the Holy Spirit,” he says. The first children’s seminar in Ghana took place in October 2008. Nowadays, all members have participated in the same fellowship, teaching, and revelations of God, as they are grounded in the same faith and biblical doctrines, through continued assistance to the work abroad by the Maranatha Christian Mission.
