“In your divided body we are one united people.” This expression of the hymn “You are the bread of life” portrays the communion with God of the 35 members of the Maranatha Christian Church (ICM), in Munich, Germany, during the Lord’s Supper held on December 2, 2018. In this special service there was also the presentation of a child to the Lord. This is an act of faith in which the parents, together with the pastor and the church, cry out to God so that the child is preserved in His presence and is separated to serve Him. Among those present, there were three visitors who received blessings throughout the event.
The ICM of Munich is assisted by the Maranatha Christian Mission with the assistance of Pastor Ronaldo Bandeira. The first service was held on August 12, 2012. Initially, they were made in a room of the local kindergarten school, next to the Ostbahnhof train station. In early 2013, they moved to another location, on the ground floor of the central station, providing easy access to members and visitors. Only four families reside in Munich. Therefore, the services are held every two Sundays, always at 10:30. “The other members are between 60km and 640km away,” said the pastor in charge, Ronaldo Bandeira.
The history of this church calls the readers to pray so that there is strength and prosperity in the Work of the Lord in Munich, constant operation of the Holy Spirit, salvation of souls and communion among the brethren.
